Phase 1: Research, Structure & Design
The first phase of our project entails gaining a clear understanding of our objectives and setting a strong foundation for the website’s structure and creative inspiration.
To identify best practices and features that could enhance your e-commerce store, we research other successful digital products and online stores. While creating a homepage may seem straightforward, we strive to do it better than others by drawing inspiration from successful examples and tailoring our approach to suit your company’s unique context.
Following the establishment of the inspiration, we move on to design, which involves the design process. For this, we utilize the cloud-based design software Figma to create a high-fidelity design for your Shopify store. Concurrently, we also work on developing the Web Kit and Sections, which serve as a toolkit for future design-related work on your Shopify store. This Web Kit comprises various elements such as styles, components, and sections, including icons, buttons, pop-ups, text fields, and more.
By working in parallel on the design of the website and the creation of the Web Kit and page modules, we ensure that we create the necessary components in a timely and efficient manner. This approach also helps us to maintain consistency in editing the design and saves time.
Phase 2: Development & Quality Assurance
Once the design is 100% agreed upon, we lock it, we hand it over to the development team who build the designed store on Shopify.
In case you have additional ideas or require any changes after the design has been locked, we will document them and add them to a list. If these changes are necessary before the store goes live, we will add the required hours of work and adjust the launch date accordingly. However, this is not a preferred approach, so we strongly advise you to review the design carefully before locking it to avoid any delays or additional costs.
Meanwhile, as the store owner, you will create and import content and products to the store. To facilitate this process, we provide an introductory Shopify walkthrough, regardless of your previous experience with the platform.
After the site has been fully developed and populated with content and products, we conduct a thorough quality assurance check. Our QA team tests and verifies all the aspects of the site to ensure that it functions as intended and matches the locked design in Figma.
Phase 3: Launch & Support
Once the Shopify store has been fully developed, populated with your content and products, and quality assured, we deploy it to go live.
After the store is live, there will be a two-week period of support. If you wish to continue working with us after the project is finished, we would be delighted to collaborate with you again. Our team is always available to assist you with any future needs.
